Blurring of genders
by Saltheart Foamfollower inas sometimes happens at elders meetings with the co, he has a letter from the branch to read out.
this rarely is made available later so any policies have to be acted on from memory.
this visit a letter was read about blurring of the genders and in particular brothers dressing in a metrosexual style - tight clothing was mentioned again.

Obfuscate. I like it DD. Never did understand the blurred lines between metrosexual and homosexual. No doubt there will be more on this as each CO takes their own interpretation westward. -

Today I got a review that left me scratching my head - what do you make of it?
by Brock Talon inas a published author on amazon, i'm used to getting negative reviews from time to time.
it goes with the territory and i'm ok with it.
writing is an art form, so no art is liked by everyone.

Brock - my mother text on a weekday (big deal) to say "you have to read da book". My reply "what book" was matched by a pixt (even bigger deal) of the cover of your book.
I am sure she will write a review as she is (clearly) thoroughly enjoying your book. :)))

Parrots Turn Carnivores.....Media Article ..Sure to get J.W.`s all excited .
by smiddy inthe first part was a heading in the herald sun newspaper tues.sep.15 ,2015 melbourne victoria .. , lorikeets and other parrots are becoming meat eaters---and researchers want to know why.. griffith university professor darryl jones has heard the herbivorous bird was eating mince left out by bird feeders in brisbane (australia ) "in two weeks i had about 500 emails from across the country all saying lorikeets were eating meat" he said.. that will surely get the faithful thinking the big "a" is almost upon us.. in the 1960`s i was told that buzzards and other carnivorous birds were laying twice as many eggs than was normal proving the big "a' was almost here.. here we go again.

Extreme emotions re today's watchtower
by Tornintwo ini was supposed to attend the meeting today, one of my once a month duties for the sake of my family and my fade.
i read the wt and i just can't stomach going.... what this wt does is again and again reiterate that only jws will survive the coming destruction and that they should be happy about this and raise ourselves erect...eg:.
we cannot expect that many people will suddenly convert to true christianity.

I agree with what has been said.
You feel like this moment in time is going to last forever. You feel like in 5 years time you will be thinking and doing the same thing as now. You are in a rut of grief.
But if you take the sound advice that you have been given - get a hobby - get a part time job - do some volunteer work - stay in school - get a higher education or trade qualification - there is only one thing that I would encourage you to do other than that....
KEEP A DIARY.
Even just jot notes of what you have done, experiences you have had, fun times or moments of clarity. This way (in one year, five years and ten years), you can:
1. Measure your life growth - and BE PROUD!
2. Gain confidence in yourself and then
3. Set some goals, direct your life path and GO GET IT!
This took me a long time to do because I was always so worried about making other people happy that I didn't stop to think about or focus on what might make me happy.
You are young, you have prospects, you are clearly a thoughtful and caring teen. Put that to good use - on yourself. Live an authentic and inspired life. X

I've decided to make a difference that REALLY matters
by Mrs. Eden inhello friends!today is a sad day for me, as seven months have gone by since my mother passed away after a decades-long fight with breast cancer..
because the witnessing/preaching/teaching work doesn't make any sense to me anymore; because it's not about any "truth"; and because it's basically useless, i've decided to quit doing it.
instead, i've decided to do something that actually can make a real difference in other people's lives.

I am certain that your experience in caring for your mum is all that you need to demonstrate amazing compassion for those who you come in touch with on a daily basis. The fact that you have signed up is testament to that. Good on you Mrs E, I hope this selfless act opens many more doors for you in return. Like the other members, your mum would be extremely proud, as are we. Making a real, practical and beneficial difference. All power to you! X -

Psychology: Sick of Elder Low tone slow paced talk
by Aprostate Exam innow after 21 years in professional psychology/humanities, i love talking to brothers that adopt a slow pace in speech, and low tone of voice when they deal with the rank and cold un-associated ones.
my mirroring their present state in personality seems to psych them out for a bit.
i then tap into my fast injection of logical sense, that throws them off.

That is classic AE. Takes a lot of patience though! Who do you get to laugh about it with and do you manage to contain yourself or do you laugh out loud at some point? That's like having the best punch line but your audience doesn't 'get it'. Such intellect wasted on the elderdubs! Gladly, not wasted for us. Thanks for sharing!
